Fund Description
The fund was incepted in January 1991 and is managed by New York Life Investment Management, LLC. The fund seeks to maximize total return, consistent with liquidity, low risk to principal, and investment in debt securities. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in bonds, which include all types of debt securities such as debt or debt-related securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. or foreign governments, their agencies or instrumentalities, obligations of international or supranational entities, debt securities issued by U.S. or foreign corporate entities, zero coupon bonds, municipal bonds, mortgage-related and other asset-backed securities, and loan participation interests. The fund declares and distributes dividends monthly and capital gains annually.
