Fund Description

The fund was incepted in March 1997 and is managed by Metropolitan West Asset Management, LLC. The fund seeks to maximize long-term total return. The fund primarily invests in fixed income securities. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in investment-grade debt and up to 20% of assets in securities rated as low as B. Typically the average duration ranges between two and eight years and the dollar-weighted average maturity ranges between two and fifteen years. The fund pays dividends monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
