Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in equity securities, primarily common stocks, and may also invest in YieldCos, ADRs, REITs and publicly traded MLPs. It invests across a wide range of industries and in companies of all sizes, holding equity securities of U.S. and foreign companies with no limit on the percentage invested domestically or abroad. Under normal market conditions, at least 25% of total assets are invested in companies in the alternative energy industry, where "Alternative Energy" or "Renewable Energy" means the production, conservation, storage and transmission of energy to reduce pollution and harm to the environment, particularly when compared to conventional coal, oil or nuclear energy. The advisor selects securities by balancing relationship to areas of interest, perceived risk and valuation, and considering company and industry prospects and technological and management strength, and may consider new technologies for a clean, sustainable environment.
