Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities of large-capitalization companies, defined as those with a market capitalization within the market capitalization range of the Russell 1000 Growth Index at the time of purchase. It uses a research-driven, long-term approach combining quantitative analysis and qualitative judgment to identify faster-growing or quality growth companies, analyzing balance sheet metrics, profit margins, competitive position, growth versus competitors, and market valuation compared with a stock's own historical norms and the stocks of other large-capitalization companies. ESG factors deemed financially material may be considered, where applicable, but it does not pursue an impact or sustainable strategy. It invests primarily in domestic stocks, may invest in foreign stocks, restricted securities and private companies, and may use options, including covered calls, to attempt to enhance returns. It diversifies across companies, sectors and industries and follows a disciplined selling process.
