Fund Description
The fund was incepted in April 1994 and is co-managed by Northern Trust Investments and Northern Trust Global Investments (Europe) Limited. The fund seeks a high level of current income. The fund's approach is to invest in a broad range of investment-grade municipal instruments with an average maturity of 10 and 30 years. In seeking high current income, the fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in bonds and other fixed income securities. Although the fund invests primarily in investment grade domestic debt obligations, it may make limited investments in the securities of foreign issuers and securities that are below investment grade (junk bonds). Dividends, if any, are declared daily and paid monthly. Capital gains, if any, are declared and paid annually.
