Fund Description
The fund was incepted in January 1975 and is managed by Neuberger Berman Management. The fund seeks growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of established companies. The fund manager scours the mid and large capitalization arena to find companies that have yet to be 'discovered' by a majority of investors. This means looking beyond the big well-known names in the Fortune 100. Using a value-oriented style, the fund manager looks for stocks selling at substantially less than their intrinsic worth. Selected companies must also have strong fundamentals such as consistent cash flows and sound track records through all phases of the market cycle. The fund distributes capital gains and dividends annually (in December).
