Fund Description
The fund was incepted in December 2000 and is managed by AEW Management and Advisors, L.P. The fund seeks to provide investors with above-average income and long-term growth of capital. The fund primarily invests in equity REITs, which own or lease real estate and derive their income primarily from rental income. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in investments of real estate investment trusts ('REITs') and/or real-estate-related companies. The fund pays dividends quarterly and capital gains annually.
