Fund Description
The fund was incepted in September 1999 and is managed by Northern Trust Investments. The fund seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund employs a growth-oriented approach. The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in the equity securities of small capitalization companies. Although the fund primarily invests in the securities of U.S. companies, it may make limited investments in the securities of foreign companies either directly or indirectly (for example, through ADRs). Dividends and capital gains, if any, are declared and paid annually.
