Fund Description
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets and any borrowings for investment purposes in municipal bonds that pay interest exempt from regular federal personal income tax, which may include obligations from U.S. states, territories, and their subdivisions. It may invest in investment grade municipal bonds rated BBB/Baa or higher and allow up to 20% in below investment-grade bonds. The fund maintains a weighted average effective duration of 3 to 10 years, generally targeting 4.5 to 7 years.
