Fund Description
The fund was incepted in August 1984 and is managed by Oppenheimer Funds Group. The fund seeks maximum current income exempt from federal, New York State and New York City income taxes for individual investors consistent with preservation of capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in municipal securities and at least 65% of its assets in New York municipal securities. The fund invests mainly in New York municipal securities that pay interest exempt from federal and New York personal income taxes. The fund declares dividends on each business day and pays them monthly. Capital gains are distributed in December.
