Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in stocks of medium market capitalization companies that the adviser believes have above average earnings growth potential. Medium market capitalization may be defined by inclusion in the Russell Midcap Growth Index, classification by an independent third party, and/or the adviser's assessment under current market conditions, and the applicable range may change over time. It invests primarily in equity securities such as common stocks and depositary receipts, may invest in foreign securities, and typically diversifies across industries and sectors but may concentrate in a single industry or sector. The fund uses an active, bottom-up approach focused on fundamental analysis, with quantitative screening tools also considered.
