Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 2000 and is managed by Principal Management Corporation. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in common stock and other equity securities of large capitalization companies. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies with large market capitalizations (those with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Russell 1000 Value Index at the time of purchase. Up to 25% of fund assets may be invested in foreign securities. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
