Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of total assets in income-producing equity securities of U.S. issuers, including common and preferred stocks, securities of other investment companies that invest primarily in equities, and equity interests in REITs. The remainder may be invested in debt securities, most expected to be convertible, and it may invest in IPOs. It may invest up to 20% in non-U.S. issuers (no more than 5% in emerging markets) and up to 20% of net assets in REITs. It may hold investment grade and below investment grade debt, including up to 10% in junk bonds. Derivatives may be used for hedging, substitution, return enhancement, portfolio management, or cash flow management. The adviser uses a value, bottom-up fundamental approach and integrates ESG considerations, while generally excluding certain controversial weapons companies.
