Fund Description
Incepted in September 1987, this fund is managed by Prudential Investment Management. The objective of this fund is to seek high tax-free income. The fund invests at least 80% of its investable assets in municipal bonds, which are fixed-income securities issued by states and municipalities whose income is free from regular federal income tax. The fund normally invests its assets in municipal bonds that it believes provide above average yields. The fund offers dividends every month and capital gains annually.
