Fund Description
The fund was incepted in December 2000 and is managed by Principal Management Corporation. The fund seeks long-term growth of capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks of companies that compose the Standard & Poor's ('S&P') 500 Index. The fund manager attempts to mirror the investment performance of the Index by allocating the fund's assets in approximately the same weightings as the S&P 500. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
