Fund Description

The fund invests in financial instruments that ProFund Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with its Daily Target. The fund obtains leveraged exposure to the Index, which is designed to measure the performance of U.S. companies engaged in the exploration and production of gold, silver, and platinum included in the S&P Global Broad Market Index, and these companies are weighted based on market capitalization. Under normal circumstances, it will obtain leveraged exposure to at least 80% of total assets in Index components or instruments with similar economic characteristics. Holdings may include common stock, depositary receipts (including ADRs), swap agreements, and cash held in high-quality money market instruments such as U.S. Treasury bills and repurchase agreements. It seeks to remain fully invested and rebalance daily, and may use representative sampling or securities not in the Index.
