Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by normally investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in common stocks and other equity securities of medium market capitalization companies, defined as market caps of at least $3 billion and up to the higher of $50 billion or the largest company held in the Russell Midcap Index. It may hold securities that later exceed this threshold, which can result in less than 80% of its net assets in medium market capitalization stocks. It emphasizes income-generating securities, uses a value style focused on attractive valuation and fundamental strength, and applies quantitative screening plus qualitative and fundamental research. It may invest up to 25% in non-U.S. securities (including emerging markets, with no limit in ADRs) and up to 25% in REITs, and may use derivatives.
