Fund Description
T. Rowe Price Tax-Free Short-Intermediate was incepted in December 1983 and is managed by the T. Rowe Price Associates. The objective of the fund is to seek a high level of income exempt from federal income taxes consistent with modest price fluctuation by investing primarily in short- and intermediate-term municipal securities. The fund's weighted average maturity normally ranges from two to five years and is not expected to exceed five years. The fund generally buys investment-grade securities. The fund declares dividends on the first business day of each month and capital gains in December.
