Fund Description

The fund was incepted in December 1982 and is managed by T.Rowe Price Associates. The fund's main objective is to provide long-term capital growth, a reasonable level of current income, and increasing future income through investments primarily in dividend-paying stocks. The fund employs a value approach in selecting companies that grow over time and support a growing dividend payment, as well as some stocks that do not pay dividends currently but offer prospects for appreciation and future dividends. Dividends, if any, are declared quarterly in March, June, September and December.
