Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in inflation-protected bonds, with qualifying derivatives counted toward this policy. It focuses on U.S. Treasury inflation-linked securities such as TIPS, but may also buy similar bonds from U.S. agencies and corporations. Up to 20% may be invested in foreign inflation-protected bonds, including emerging markets and non-U.S. inflation links, and up to 20% in fixed income securities not indexed to inflation. Non-U.S. Treasury holdings are investment grade or comparable. It may use futures, options, FX forwards, and swaps, including interest rate futures and CPI or other inflation swaps, for exposure or hedging and to adjust duration.
