Fund Description

The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation in the small-capitalization market while aiming to incur less risk than the small-cap growth market. It invests in a select group of small market capitalization companies that its subadviser believes have sustainable competitive advantages and are priced attractively. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of assets are invested in common stocks of small market capitalization companies, defined as those generally within the range of companies in the Russell 2000 Growth Index on a rolling three-year basis at initial purchase. It typically holds about 20 to 40 securities and may invest in foreign securities and depositary receipts.
