Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its assets in equity securities economically tied to emerging market countries that are considered undervalued relative to earnings, dividends and/or assets. The adviser uses a disciplined, bottom-up approach emphasizing fundamental research and qualitative analysis, including business fundamentals, near-term profitability improvement potential, financial strength, management strength and low valuation, and may sell holdings deemed overvalued or otherwise unfavorable. Investments may include common and preferred stock, convertibles, ADRs, EDRs, GDRs, equity-linked participation notes, warrants and rights, and may be denominated in U.S. dollars, currencies of other developed countries, and local emerging market currencies. Material ESG factors may be considered.
