Fund Description

The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of net assets plus borrowings in companies located in, or economically tied to, developed markets outside the U.S. It invests principally in equity securities (common and preferred stocks) and depositary receipts, generally denominated in foreign currencies and typically held outside the U.S., and may invest in companies economically tied to emerging markets. It focuses mainly on large- and mid-cap issuers (as defined by the MSCI World ex USA Index range) but may invest in small caps. Russell Investment Management, LLC oversees a multi-style, multi-manager approach, may change asset allocation, and may use quantitative, rules-based, and index-based strategies, derivatives (long/short), currency forwards, synthetic foreign equities, equity-linked notes, and REITs.
