Fund Description
The fund was incepted in April 1998 and is managed by Rydex Global Advisors. The fund seeks capital appreciation by investing in companies that are involved in the health care industry (health care companies). The fund invests substantially all of its assets in equity securities of health care companies that are traded in the United States. Health care companies include pharmaceutical companies, companies involved in research and development of pharmaceutical products and services, companies involved in the operation of health care facilities, and other companies involved in the design, manufacture, or sale of health care-related products or services. The fund may also engage in futures and options transactions, purchase ADRs and U.S. government securities, and enter into repurchase agreements. Dividends and capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
