Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in equity securities of micro-cap companies, defined as those with a market capitalization not greater than that of the largest company in the Russell Microcap Index at the time of its reconstitution. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of net assets in micro-cap equities. Using multiple investment themes, it seeks wide exposure by investing in companies with strong fundamentals and/or prospects that it believes are not fully reflected in their prices, considering balance sheets, growth prospects, and potential cash flow and internal rate of return improvement. It generally focuses on U.S. companies but may invest up to 25% of net assets in foreign-headquartered issuers and may invest in other investment companies focused on equities. It may sell holdings to secure gains, limit losses, redeploy assets, or manage cash.
