Fund Description

The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of companies with small market capitalizations and related investments. For this policy, small capitalization companies have market values not exceeding $3 billion or the highest month-end market capitalization of any stock in the Russell 2000 Index for the previous 12 months, whichever is greater; holdings that later exceed this definition may still count toward the 80% policy. Portfolio management uses a growth-oriented style emphasizing small U.S. companies.
