Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 65% of total assets in equities, mainly common stocks of U.S. companies, generally focusing on established firms similar in size to those in the S&P 500 Index or the Russell 1000 Growth Index, though it may invest in companies of any size and to a limited extent outside the U.S. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in equities of growth companies, which for this policy are companies included in the Russell 1000 Growth Index. Portfolio management aims to add value through stock selection and employs a risk-balanced bottom-up selection process using proprietary research conducted by in-house analysts, considers various valuation metrics, makes investment decisions within risk parameters set by portfolio management, and generally considers ESG factors it believes to be financially material. The fund may lend up to one-third of total assets.
