Fund Description

The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of companies domiciled or operating in developing markets, defined by emerging stock markets, low- to middle-income economies, or similar developing characteristics (including countries in the MSCI EM Index and Hong Kong). The adviser selects countries or regions based on factors such as economic trends, earnings outlook, liquidity, policy, currency expectations, valuation, sentiment, and social and political trends, then targets sectors with strong earnings growth prospects and invests in foreign growth-oriented companies. It may invest across market capitalizations, use depositary receipts, invest in other investment companies, and use forward currency contracts for hedging.
