Fund Description

The fund was incepted in September 1986 and is managed by Sentinel Advisors Company. The fund seeks high current income while seeking to control risk by investing mainly in U.S. government bonds. Normally, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in government securities. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in high quality money market instruments, which are not issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies or instrumentalities. Dividends are distributed monthly. Capital gains are distributed in December, following the November 30th fiscal year-end.
