Fund Description

The fund was incepted in October 1993 and is managed by SunAmerica Asset Management Corp. The fund seeks high current income consistent with relative safety of capital. The fund invests, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its assets in securities of high credit quality issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, or any agency or instrumentality thereof without regard to the maturities of such securities. The fund invests in mortgage-backed securities, short-term money market instruments and zero-coupon securities. Dividends, if any, are declared daily and paid monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
