Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in equity securities, normally allocating at least 80% of assets to mid-cap companies located in the United States. Its sub-adviser, Schroder Investment Management North America Inc., uses bottom-up fundamental analysis to select securities it believes offer capital appreciation potential based on factors such as novel, superior, or niche products or services; sound operating characteristics; quality of management; entrepreneurial teams; and opportunities from mergers, divestitures, or new management. The process integrates financially material ESG characteristics (where available). Holdings may include common and preferred stocks, including over-the-counter securities, and, based on market or economic conditions, may focus in one or more sectors of the market.
