Fund Description

The fund was incepted in August 2000 and is managed by Smith Barney Fund Management. The objective of the fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities of U.S. and foreign companies that are principally engaged in, but not limited to, the development, production, sale and distribution of goods or services used in the broadcast and media industry. The fund also invests in equity securities of companies with small market capitalizations. The fund generally pays dividends and makes capital gain distributions, if any, once a year, typically in December.
