Fund Description

The fund was incepted in March 2000 and is managed by Phoenix Investment Counsel. The fund seeks capital appreciation while maximizing after-tax returns. The fund seeks to balance growth with tax efficiency by investing in well-established companies with superior, sustainable earnings, emphasizing long-term positions to qualify for lower capital gains rate, and harvesting losses to offset capital gains. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in common stocks, primarily common stocks of domestic (U.S.) growth companies of any size. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
