Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets plus any borrowings in securities and other assets of energy and energy-related companies, with diversified exposure to U.S. and non-U.S. issuers. It generally holds common units of energy infrastructure MLPs across market caps, including those tied to midstream, processing, refining, marketing, and alternative energy infrastructure. It may invest in equity securities of any capitalization and in fixed income of any grade and maturity, including below-investment-grade and non-rated issues, and may allocate up to 20% each to non-energy equities and non-energy fixed income. It may invest in other investment companies, ETFs, and private equity and debt investments. The Adviser uses a disciplined investment process that focuses on risk-reduction and includes a considerable current income component.
