Fund Description

The fund is a diversified multi-strategy portfolio that seeks to implement alternative factor styles the adviser believes will have relatively low correlation to equity markets and the potential to produce positive returns before fees over time. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets in alternative investment strategies, including relatively illiquid event-driven and convergence/arbitrage trades and long-short factor strategies across asset classes, via Underlying Funds and/or direct holdings. It may use derivatives, short sales, below-investment-grade and distressed investments, PIPEs, SPAC-related securities, IPOs/SEOs, and fixed income of any maturity, duration, or quality. It may hold unlimited Underlying Funds and exceed 25% in one. The adviser sets and rebalances allocation and may change managers/exposures. The Trust and the Adviser were granted an SEC exemptive order that permits Symmetry, subject to certain conditions and without shareholder approval, to hire and terminate sub-advisers.
