Fund Description
The fund was incepted in February 1994 and is managed by J&W Seligman & Co. Incorporated. The fund seeks to maximize income exempt from regular federal income taxes and from Carolina personal income taxes to the extent consistent with preservation of capital and with consideration given to opportunities for capital gain. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in Carolina municipal securities rated investment-grade when purchased. The fund invests in long-term municipal bonds. The fund distributes its dividends monthly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
