Fund Description

The fund was incepted in February 1990 and is managed by Templeton Investment Counsel, LLC. The fund seeks long-term capital growth. The fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in the equity securities of companies located anywhere in the world, including developing or emerging markets. The fund may invest up to 40% of its total assets in securities of issuers located in developing countries or emerging markets, including up to 5% of its total assets in Russian securities. The fund invests in companies of any size, including smaller companies. Dividends, if any, are distributed twice a year. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
