Fund Description

The fund seeks its investment goal by investing primarily in a broad range of equity securities, including common stocks, preferred stocks and publicly traded real estate investment trusts, and may invest in any stock or other equity security its advisor believes may assist in pursuing its goal, including smaller companies with market capitalizations less than $500 million. It holds both domestic securities and those of issuers domiciled in or economically tied to countries outside the U.S., including developing countries, and under normal conditions invests a significant portion of assets outside the U.S. Holdings are selected through issuer and industry analysis informed by economic developments, market outlooks, interest rates, inflation, supply and demand, and issuer-specific factors. The fund may sell positions for better opportunities, issuer or market changes, after reaching a target price, or if a holding no longer supports its goals.
