Fund Description

The fund invests in a broad range of income-producing securities, primarily stocks and bonds. Under normal conditions, it invests at least 80% of net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in income-producing securities and at least 50% in common stocks. It may invest in equities such as preferred stock and publicly traded REITs, including smaller companies and companies in developing countries, and expects equity holdings to be weighted toward dividend-paying companies. It may invest in debt of any maturity or credit quality, including high yield and convertible bonds, and may hold significant non-U.S. exposure, including developing countries. Decisions reflect issuer and industry analysis and market and economic conditions.
