Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities of the Russell 3000 Index, which represents approximately 96% of the U.S. equity market through its largest 3,000 companies. It aims to closely match the investment characteristics of this benchmark by purchasing most, but not necessarily all, of its constituent stocks. The term "assets" in the investment policy includes net assets and any borrowings for investment purposes. Managed by Teachers Advisors, LLC, the fund's primary objective is to track the performance of designated U.S. equity markets, though its ability to do so may be impacted by transaction costs and expenses.
