Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in equity securities, including common and preferred stocks, warrants, certain convertible debt securities, MLP and REIT securities, depositary receipts, and other securities with equity characteristics. It seeks favorable long-term total return by investing in securities the adviser believes offer capital appreciation, dividend income, or both. It focuses on attractively valued large-cap securities that the adviser believes have the potential to appreciate faster than the rest of the market and return cash via dividends, stock buy-backs, or both, with a weighted average market cap similar to the S&P 500 Index. It may invest up to 20% in foreign issuers and use futures, options, swaps, and other equity derivatives.
