Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in equity securities of small market capitalization companies economically tied to countries outside the United States, including developed and emerging markets. Economic ties are determined by inclusion in the MSCI ACWI ex USA Small Cap Index or classification by MSCI as a non-United States company, and the fund may also consider companies whose securities are primarily listed for trading outside the United States, are headquartered outside the United States, or have at least half of their assets or revenues outside the United States. It invests principally in equity securities, including common stocks and U.S. dollar-denominated foreign stocks traded on U.S. exchanges, and may invest directly in foreign currencies. The sub-advisor uses bottom-up "Informed Momentum" stock selection with tailored risk management and efficient implementation, typically holding about 100-150 investments, and may trade actively. It may invest cash in other investment companies and lend securities, and may have significant exposure to emerging markets, Europe, and the Industrials sector.
