Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities of large-cap companies in the U.S. market with an MSCI ESG rating of A or higher, defined as the top approximately 1,000 companies by market capitalization in the U.S. market. The sub-adviser uses a quantitative life-cycle framework with six stages and an alpha model to rank stocks, then employs an optimization process that incorporates the alpha model output and includes an MSCI ESG ratings constraint and certain exclusionary constraints. Excludes 10%+ thermal coal revenue, UN Global Compact violators, and controversial weapons. It may invest in common stocks, depositary receipts, preferred stocks, convertibles, up to 5% in index ETFs, and in cash, short-term debt, money market funds, and U.S. government securities.
