Fund Description

The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities, and derivatives that provide exposure to the investment focus suggested by the fund's name, or to one or more market risk factors associated with that investment focus, are counted toward the 80% investment policy. It invests at least 65% of total assets in non-U.S. stocks, emphasizing large-cap companies with strong dividend records or believed to be undervalued, and diversifies primarily among developed countries, typically with significant investments in developed Europe. Emerging markets exposure is modest and focused on more mature developing countries, with country assignment determined using MSCI Inc. or another unaffiliated provider. It follows a value-oriented approach using global research, and at times may have a significant portion of assets in one sector, such as financials.
