Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in equity securities of mid-capitalization growth companies, seeking favorable long-term total return and incremental return over the Russell Midcap Growth Index while managing relative risk versus that benchmark. Mid-cap companies fall within the market-cap range of the Russell Midcap Index, and growth companies are defined by membership in specified growth indexes. The adviser uses proprietary quantitative models to score stocks using variables such as valuation, earnings and growth prospects, and price and volume trends, along with inputs including benchmark weights, correlations, and trading costs. The fund may invest in foreign equities, special situations, and use futures, options, swaps, and other equity derivatives.
