Fund Description

The fund was incepted in June 1971 and is managed by American Century Investment Management, Inc. The fund's main objective is to seek long-term capital growth. The fund managers look for stocks of companies they believe will increase in value over time, using a growth investment strategy developed by American Century. This strategy looks for companies with earnings and revenues that are not only growing, but growing at a successively faster, or accelerating pace. The fund strategy is based on the premise that, over the long-term, the stocks of companies with accelerating earnings and revenues have a greater-than-average chance to increase in value. The fund generally distributes dividends and capital gains, if any, in December
