Fund Description

The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of companies located in emerging market countries, generally focusing on those within the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, and may also invest a portion of assets in frontier markets. Company location is determined using factors such as headquarters, principal operations, revenue sources, primary trading market, and legal organization. Using a strategy developed by the investment advisor, portfolio managers base decisions primarily on analysis of individual companies, using research tools to buy or hold stocks meeting criteria and sell those that do not, seeking companies with accelerating growth in earnings, revenues, or fundamentals. It may invest in foreign-currency-denominated securities and ADRs or similar depositary arrangements.
