Fund Description
The fund was incepted in November 1981 and is managed by American Century Investment Management, Inc. The fund's main objective is to seek long-term capital growth. This domestic equity fund mainly invests in broad range of mid to large-sized companies exhibiting strong growth. The fund looks for stocks of companies they believe will increase in value over time, using a growth investment strategy developed by American Century. The fund's investment decisions are based primarily on the business fundamentals of the individual companies. The fund invests in U.S as well as foreign companies. Most of the foreign investments are in companies located and doing business in developed countries. If there are any dividends and capital gains, the management distributes them once a year in December.
