Fund Description

The fund invests in financial instruments that ProFund Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with its Daily Target. Under normal circumstances, it seeks leveraged exposure of at least 80% of total assets to components of an index measuring Latin American companies traded on U.S. exchanges, or instruments with similar economic characteristics. It invests mainly in equity securities, depositary receipts (including ADRs and GDRs), and derivatives such as swap agreements to gain leveraged index exposure. Cash tied to derivatives is typically held in U.S. Treasury bills and repurchase agreements. It seeks to remain fully invested and to rebalance daily, and may use representative sampling or non-index instruments.
