Fund Description
The fund was incepted in March 1982 and is managed by USAA Investment Management Company. The fund seeks to provide investors with interest income that is exempt from federal income tax. The fund invests primarily in investment-grade tax-exempt securities differentiated by maturity limitations. The fund invests its assets in securities, the interest from which, in the opinion of counsel to the issuer, is excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes but is subject to state and local taxes. Dividends are declared daily and paid on the last business day of each month. Capital gains are distributed in December each year.
